This is something I can relate to. Having just set up a smart tv for my elderly parents, I get calls on a regular basis asking how to turn on CNN and why the volume isn’t working. They turned on voice accessibility by mistake and were stuck with hearing any choice they made repeated back to them.
If they want to, elderly people will learn new skills. I showed my 84-year-old mother and 88-year-old father how to use the keys. I created a card that illustrated each symbol in detail. It took some time for her to figure out how to use the DVR, but she now enjoys it.

This sparks a thought… Is anybody interested in starting a remote control case company?
I’m fairly certain you aren’t a licensed medical practitioner.
XD “Lowering of loudness” is a direct translation.
It’s a fantastic idea! I’ll give it a shot with my own grandmother.
That’s how every remote should be, in my opinion. Just two more buttons would I add. Another with the name “Other Subscription” is Netflix.
At some point, limiting the number of options available is actually beneficial. Have you ever let a four-year-old choose an app from the store?
“Can I try that one, not that one, not that one, but that one? That’s the one!”
It’s best to keep the choices to two or three and let them choose. That’s sort of what you did there with the remote.

What is the significance of number one?
