  2. Don’t let math hold you back! You have the ability to learn math. All you need is persistence and patience with yourself. It’s not this innate ability that you either have or don’t have. You’ve got this! It’s the same as any other skill.

  3. Physics in particular. When someone says they love quantum mechanics ask them what vector calculus or abstract linear algebra they use.

  4. I’m convinced that if I had been allowed to use formula sheets in arithmetic, I would have excelled. My memory is terrible, but I enjoyed math and was a natural at it until I reached calculus. I couldn’t remember formulas or conversions after that, and I was never able to pass. But, oh well. I’m in sales now, and I’m counting my fingers.
